Interests
These are the areas I'd like to build a career around, plus the things I do just for fun. They overlap more than you'd expect. I haven't worked professionally in any of them yet, so this is where I'm heading rather than a list of jobs I've done.
Digital & Marketing
- Social media marketing
- Digital marketing
- Motorsport digital marketing
- Advertising
- Content creation
- Video editing
- Graphic design
I like working out how a brand, team or community gets noticed online: what gets posted, how it looks and how people react. I already make videos and graphics for personal projects and online communities, and I want to learn the marketing side properly.
Motorsport & Media
- Motorsport media
- Motorsport broadcasting
- Motorsport communications
- Sim racing
- Motorsport-related work
I pay a lot of attention to how racing is covered: the camera work, commentary, graphics and the way a race gets told as a story. I'd like to work on the media, broadcasting or communications side of it.
Motorsport & sim racing
Motorsport is one of my biggest interests, and I'd like to work in it. That could be the media or broadcasting side, social media and digital marketing for a team or series, or something else around the sport.
Following motorsport
- I follow the single-seater ladder from the junior categories up to Formula 1
- Formula 1: the races, strategy and technical side
- Formula 2 & Formula 3: the feeder series, good for spotting future F1 drivers early
- IndyCar: ovals, road courses and street circuits
- Formula E: electric racing, city circuits and energy management
How teams and series reach fans
I'm interested in how teams, series and drivers build an audience through social media, video, graphics and broadcast coverage. I make video edits and graphics for gaming and motorsport-related projects, and I'd like to do more of this for real teams or organisations.
My sim racing setup
Sim racing is one of my main interests and another way I stay involved with motorsport. I have my own dedicated setup at home, and it also ties in with my interest in PC hardware.
- Cockpit: GT Omega ART
- Wheelbase: MOZA R5
- Steering wheel: MOZA ES
- Pedals: MOZA SR-P three-pedal set
- Shifter: MOZA HGP
Outside of work
Technology
- Building, upgrading and troubleshooting PCs
- Linux, home servers and NAS systems
- Networking and self-hosting
- Learning by taking things apart, experimenting and working out why something doesn't work
Gaming
- Play with friends and host game servers for them
- Minecraft in particular: Paper servers, plugins, mods, datapacks and resource packs
- Cross-platform play for Java and Bedrock players through Geyser
Cars
- Interested in cars alongside motorsport
- Passed my practical driving test in January 2026
- Used a driving simulator to help practise alongside lessons
Future opportunities
I'm interested in work experience, apprenticeships and other opportunities in any of the areas above, whether that's marketing, advertising, motorsport media or IT. If you think I could be a good fit, I'd like to hear from you.
